The program is primarily intended for high school students in Grade 11 and Grade 12. However, Grade 10 students who have a deep interest in Computer Science, Coding, Biology along with some advanced exposure (ICT, Coding, etc.) are also welcome.
This program has been tailored for the bioscience students of Class 10 – 12. This is the most crucial growth period in terms of technical knowledge that makes a difference to the student’s career as well as to the scientific community.
Theme: Preparing War Machines against COVID-19
The online program will serve as the ideal online summer camp wherein students will understand, learn and appreciate the importance and technical know-how of drugs and drug designing against COVID-19, which is the need of the hour and for years to come. The program will also involve thoughtful assignments and case studies for the students so that they make the most of it.

Monday, Wednesday, and Friday (6 pm – 8 pm) for 2 weeks.
Day 1: Introduction to Molecular Biology, Omics (Genomics & Proteomics), and Bioinformatics
Students will learn the advanced theoretical concepts of Genes, Genomics, DNA, RNA, Protein, and Bioinformatics Tools.
Day 2: Evolution of the new Coronavirus with BLAST software
Learn how the novel Coronavirus has possibly evolved with the help of the interesting BLAST software. It allows you to see the similarity between different species. It is awesome how a simple computer program can give vivid information about the origin of a virus!
Day 3: The Protocol of Drug Discovery
Appeal to your inner hidden scientist and learn how to develop drugs against COVID-19 from scratch. Discover today and lead tomorrow.
Day 4: Importance of CADD (Computer-Aided Drug Design) and How to Use
CADD, or Computer-based drug designing, is the coolest tool out there, used by scientists across the world for the purpose of designing drugs. Why don’t you learn the tricks this summer?
Day 5: Designing Clinical Trials
A new drug or a remodeled drug must always be tested before use. But it is not as straightforward as it sounds. Several stages and strategies are involved. Learn how clinical trials are conducted and how to them forward in order to launch a medicine or vaccine in the market.
Day 6: Career and College Admission Guidance
This session has been specifically designed to help you visualize your career and take the best step forward.
You will get to know the career paths and courses (in India and abroad) in the field of bioinformatics, biotechnology, and life sciences. Additionally, we will provide you online tools for career guidance college admissions (after 12th).
The program will also involve thoughtful assignments and case studies for the students so that they make the most of it.
Certificates will be provided to the students (by SHRM Biotechnologies and Stoodnt) only on the successful completion of the program, assignments, and case studies.
